We believe in bringing connection, care, and personal support to everyone. One of the best ways to get connected is being part of a Connect Group. It’s a chance to socialise, have a cuppa, read the word, pray and simply do life together! They are designed to be fun and welcoming, creating a space for meaningful conversation in a casual environment. We have a range of groups that cater to different ages and stages of life. These groups run fortnightly over different days and times. You can chat to us at our weekly Sunday services about finding the right group for you, or send us an email by clicking the button below.
We believe God can be discovered and encountered at any age, and our heart is that your children would love God, love their church and love others! There’s a check-in station in our auditorium for you to find out more information and meet some of our team. Creche is available from the very beginning of our service (ages 1-4) and the kids program (ages 5-12) starts halfway through our service. All of our leaders have a WWVP card, and together create a welcoming, safe, and loving environment for your children.
Voltage Youth is a place young people can come and be themselves, build strong friendships and learn more about God. Students of Grade 6-12 are welcome to join us from 7pm-8:30pm at our building. Our friendly leaders welcome you through the doors, and make you feel part of the family! All of our team have a current WWVP card, and it is a drug and alcohol free environment. To find out more about what's involved in our weekly program, get in touch with the Voltage Youth team via our Facebook page.
The purpose of the C3 Internship Program: To raise mature men and women who can actively help build a healthy growing church - C3 Church Devonport. To assist in practical & spiritual development that would prepare suited individuals for future ministry opportunity. This program will assist individuals who have a desire for continuing their development in the areas of spiritual maturity, ministry and leadership skills while completing a Certificate 4 in Christian Theology and Ministry through C3 College.
At C3 Church we practise baptism by immersion, as we believe that this was the practice of the early church (as recorded in Matthew 3:16, John 3:23, Acts 8:38-39).
The English word ‘baptism’ comes from the New Testament Greek word, “Baptizo”, which means, “to immerse or dip under water.” When we are immersed under the water, we are cleansed and rebirthed into a new creation by the Holy Spirit, and represented through the raising up from the water.
"Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to be baptised by John. But John tried to deter him, saying, "I need to be baptised by you, and do you come to me?" Jesus replied, "Let it be so now; it is proper for us to do this to fulfill all righteousness." Then John consented. As soon as Jesus was baptised, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him. And a voice from heaven said, "This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Matthew 3:13-17
